Prayer Breakfasts

It was good to see so many at our October prayer breakfast, enjoying the opportunity to meet up again. Our next one is at 8:30am on Saturday 13th November and I look forward to you joining us for croissants, tea, coffee, prayer and fellowship.

We are now a member of This means you can order your books online and choose us as your bookshop and we will get a small percentage of the sales cost. The benefit of is that they are also able to supply secular books that we may not be able to. Always drop us an email if you are looking for a Christian book, we can often get them in as quickly and we won’t charge you postage.

Price Increase

You will probably already be aware of some of the pressures on wholesalers and the already increasing prices in many areas. Due to this, and the VAT increase that comes in on 1st October, we have taken the decision to increase many of our prices. We have not increased our prices for 4 years so we are hoping you will be understanding and continue to be loyal to us.

Thank you to all those of you who came to our AGM – it was good to see so many of you present and it was also an opportunity to thank our volunteers.

We also gave a public thank you to two former board members, John Wilson and Peter Greenhalgh, for all their service to Cornerstone over many years.

We heard that we finished the last financial year in a healthy financial position, thanks to grants, furlough money and a rent holiday when we were closed due to lockdown.

Unfortunately, we have lost a number of volunteers and we do need to recruit more – a list of tasks for which volunteers are needed will be sent out to all churches soon.
